The tourism sector in New York City is structured and organized by well experienced managers. Hotels and restaurants being the centre of tourism has necessitated the enactment of the hotel and restaurant week.
New York City is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It boasts of good roads, the best educational systems, proper sanitation, better health care, advanced technology, has the famous celebrities and many more. People move from all walks of life to experience New York City at first hand. One of the most distinct features of New York City is its hotels and restaurants.
The management of the top hotels and restaurants have been able to push this agenda through to boost the tourism industry in New York City.
Experts believe that, by estimates available to them, it will take 22.7 years to eat at every restaurant in New York City before one die. By the time one gets to the end, numerous restaurants will have collapsed and new ones will have reopened. Hence, individuals’ gastronomical clock will have to be re-set occasionally. Think through this, a whopping 22.7 years. That is frankly a full generation. It will include every greasy spoon, every hole in the wall, every plate serving a $45 hamburger, and every upscale Michelin-rated institutionalization.
The good thing is that every year NYC and its Companies, the official tourist arm of New York City, do make it a little easy on the firms when it comes to making the right choice. These choices range from purchasing of quality furniture to eateries.
The 30th annual New York City Restaurant Week, it’s summer version, began on Monday, July 18, and elongates to Sunday, August 21. Do not be deceived, Restaurant Week was enacted to mainly get patrons to try higher-end institutionalizations with the great deals handed down to the firms. It is believed that, NYC is such a great foodie town that always provides you with your famous dollar-a-slice pizza at any time. But there are plenty or enormous great bargains and expectations to be had for Restaurant Week.
Fourteen of the indigenous restaurants in the city that took part in the first Restaurant Week during the 1992 Democratic National Conventional will participate again this year. They are; Barbetta, Carmine’s (Upper West Side), Dock’s Oyster Bar, Gage & Toller, Gallagher’s Steak House, The Palm, Sardi’s, Shun Lee West, Sylvia’s, Tavern on the Green, Tribeca Grill, The Russian Tea Room, Union Square Café, and Victor’s Cafe. People can choose from a selection of two-course lunches for $30, $45 or $60, and three-course dinners for $30, $45 or $60, dependent on individual restaurant price points.
The organizers believe that, the restaurant week will go a long way to increase the yearly revenue of the sector. They also hope for more investment into the tourism industry in order to harness the full potential of the sector.
This pricing structure was also ensured that restaurants from all five boroughs can participate, from neighborhood eateries to fine dining. Also, more than 100 restaurants will also offer $30 bottles of wine to commemorate the 30th anniversary. This commemoration will be done on the final day of the scheduled program.
