A man believed to be one Desmond Nicky from Cardiff has drowned when he was spending his holidays at the beach.
Many people visit different beaches across the world to celebrate their birthdays. While others prefer to go solo or with just a handful of people, others go with large crowds. But Nicky Desmond wasn’t that lucky. Desmond left his hometown Cardiff to celebrate his birthday in Tenerife. After his arrival, he spent some time at his lodging then moved to the beach during sunset on the day of his birthday. He purposely went there to have a good time and swim to his innermost satisfaction but sadly got drowned in the swimming.
Because, he went there alone, he had little or no room to call for assistance. Desmond died swimming while celebrating his 30th birthday. It took a search team to find the whereabouts of Desmond Nicky. Later it was announced that, he had drowned while swimming.
Many people including friends and family have shared their memories of Desmond Nicky. They made it known that Desmond Nicky is someone who is fun to be with. He smiles all the time and he is highly selfless. A lady known by the name Sacha Pugsley who is aged 29 had this to say about Desmond Nicky. She explained that, Desmond Nicky was very sociable and selfless. She further enumerated that, Desmond Nicky will never watch people suffer when it is in his power to extend a helping hand. Many people across the world have expressed their condolences to the bereaved family following the demise of Desmond Nicky.
Desmond’s friends and family are prayerfully hoping to gather an amount of £10,000 mainly to send his corpse back to Cardiff city for burial. This has been necessitated by the family’s inability to generate the said amount even if they should use 10 years. The spokesperson for the family made it known that, emergency service was able to reach there on time but as he was being taken to hospital, he sadly passed away. The spokesperson again stressed that, Desmond Nicky is someone who is very adventurous. He likes to take on challenges and he is always active. It is a sad blow to the family, now that they would not be able to cast their eyes on Desmond Nicky from this day.
The people of Gabalfa a suburb of Cardiff made it known on the website being used to raise the fund that, their brother, friend and everything has left them sadly. They stressed that, Desmond Nicky was a very good person, he showed love to all those who came across his path. He never treated anyone with disdain or discomfort but cherished everyone and he was generally peaceful.
The spokesperson for the community made it known to the public that, it is a known fact that, they cannot bring back the life of Desmond Nicky but they can do a likewise gesture to register their deepest condolences. He continued by saying that, they are forever resolved to help the family in terms of funds to repatriate his body for burial in Cardiff.
