The United Arab Emirates has entered a visa free agreement with the Ghana following an approval of memorandum of understanding from parliament on Thursday.
Ghanaian passport holders can now enter the United Arab Emirates without any visa requirement. This visa deal was approved in Parliament on 5th day of August 2021 following the visa agreement between the two countries.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Madam Shirley Ayorkor Botchway presented the memorandum of understanding (mou)to parliament on 26th May 2021 which after going through the necessary procedure and scrutiny from the parliamentary committee, the approval declared.
The visa free agreement between this countries would enable diplomatic, special and an ordinary passport holder travel the U.A.E for duration of 90 days for all tourism and other business purpose without any hustle. However, the implementation processes for the visa free agreement to take effect is yet to be released.
