Aviation: Bad Weather Affects Over 100 American Airlines

A recent incident unexpectedly happened in the aviation industry which led to 100 booked flights in the United States being cancelled. Airlines across the world were elated on the removal of all COVID-19 measures that placed a total halt on air travels. This current incident has led to the airlines loosing sums of money due to the harsh weather conditions.

The real incident happened on Wednesday at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. The bad weather condition further deteriorated into about 320 booked flights being cancelled on Thursday leading to the cancellation of about 4,500 air trips.   

A popular agency in the tourism sector in the United States of America evaluated the effects of the storms. They published that a total number of 1,200 we terminated on only Wednesday. The Chief Operating Officer David Seymour made it known that they prepared for just one wave of the thunderstorm by the advice of the United States Meteorological Agency.

A different wave of the thunderstorm hit the community without them noticing it from afar. He continued by saying that the thunderstorm metamorphosed itself into what was least expected. This unforseen circumstances led to the cancellation of the booked flights to the detriment of the passengers yet to travel.

The spokesperson of the Dallas-Forth Worth International Airport made it known that most of the airlines using that hub diverted their already taken off planes. Also others used due diligence to diligence and proactivity to cancel their flights. If this was not done, it would have caused the death of many people.

He further enumerated that the airport had not seen rainfall for a very long time. Hence, the thunderstorm which happened on Wednesday through to Thursday made them to meet an unusual summer this month. The spokesperson again stressed that the staff of the various airlines did their outmost best. He also commended them on their resolve to stand as one until the thunderstorm subsided.

He as well emphasized that it was never in the interest of the airlines to cancel already booked flights. Hence, they are promising passengers of every good treatment in the coming days, weeks, months and years. Major flights had seriously started flight operations after the thunderstorm hit the airways. There has also been the problem of staff shortages as a result of the thunderstorm. Most of the staffs were afraid that they may lose their lives if the weather is to go bad again unknowingly.

Mr. Pete Buttigieg made it known that the major world airlines at where the incidence occurred are working assiduously to bounce back. He again said that there would be many interventions by the board of directors which will be in favour of the passengers. The passengers would be paid huge sums of money if the flights are cancelled unexpectedly. And also the various airlines will be encouraged to give prior notice to passengers on any impending incident that could lead to flights being cancelled.
