Atlas Ocean Voyages Redefines Luxury with Two Yachts in the Arctic

Atlas-Ocean-Voyages

The yacht-style expedition cruise company Atlas Ocean Voyages is kicking off its 2024 Arctic Season this summer. Two of its boats, the World Traveller and the World Navigator, will be visiting the area for the first time and exploring the delights of Greenland, Iceland, Norway, and other places.

The cruise company will travel to Greenland for the first time, providing a range of 9-night to 12-night trips that will stop at Svalbard, Greenland, and Iceland. Departures are scheduled for August 5, August 15, August 21, August 25, September 1, and September 6.

On June 21, passengers will set sail from Tromsø to Longyearbyen, spending seven nights exploring the Norwegian coast and stopping at Hammerfest, Skarsvåg, and Svalbard.

The August 10 departure from Oslo to Reykjavik is a remarkable polar summer excursion. It includes the ports of Seyðisfjörður, Akureyri, and Isafjordur in Iceland and the special ports of Bergen, Stavanger, Flam, Olden, and Alesund in Norway.

Depending on the route, charter jet service is also available for expeditions starting or terminating in Longyearbyen or Kangerlussuaq from either Oslo Gardermoen Airport or John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.

Free Cultural Immersion experiences are available on all of Atlas’s Polar Expeditions. This could involve visiting the Ittoqqortoormiit, Paamiut, or Ilulissat Indigenous settlements in Greenland, where visitors can engage in educational activities and sample local cuisine.
