Is gambling a sin? That is the question most people keep asking and Macau one of the cities in the world specifically China where gambling is well endowed has resumed operations of its casinos after weeks of being lockdown amidst the corona pandemic.
China is one of the most powerful countries in the world. It is blessed with people who are willing to learn and change the world. They also have enormous tourism sites across China. One of the tourist sites in China is regarded as a wonder of the world. This tourism site is the famous wall in China. This tourist destination has attracted most popular celebrities and powerful people in society.
Apart from this tourist destination, China has many other tourist destinations that brings visitors into the country and also provide the country with the needed foreign exchange. One of such tourist destinations is Macau.
Macau is a single tourist destination that attracts many people from all parts of the world. The edifice boasts of the needed environment for the enjoyment of one’s summer holidays.
People from mainly, America, Hong Kong, South Korea, North Korea, Singapore, India throng to Macau to have their share of the goodies the edifice promises. The tourist destination was heavily affected when the coronavirus struck the world.
The board of directors had to quickly issue the closure of the tourism site due the rate at which the virus was spreading. There were many vaccines which helped everything to normalize.
Hence, people started patronizing the tourist destination again. But recently, many variants of the virus necessitated the closure of the edifice. Happily enough, Macau is fully ready to re-open again after it was closed due to the spread of a new strain of coronavirus.
The board of directors have not made it known to the general public, whether the various casinos will function effectively or not. As already stated, Macau brought to a halt all the operations of its major casino due to the hasty spread of a new strain of the coronavirus. The Chinese government was one of the best when it comes to the management of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The central government in Beijing issued that, there must be compulsory free testing for everyone. This is the only way to fish out and minimize the effects of the virus on the Chinese economy as well as the Chinese tourism sector.
What the Chinese government has also implemented is to bring back all measures that was put in place to combat the spread of COVID-19. Hence, a strict 14 days lockdown have been put in place to insulate the nation from the hands and dire effects of the coronavirus.
The board of directors and the operational committee have agreed with the directory of the central government to put in place conditions that will minimize the spread of the virus, in order for business to proceed.
Some of these conditions are, the installation of only 50% staff, regularly disinfecting the edifice and its surroundings and making sure that, in door eating is prohibited in Macau. The central government believe that, when Macau implements these measures, it would not lead to another sudden closure of the tourist destination.
In most cities in China, there is a ban on customers eating in restaurants. Hence, customers are urged to take their foods home after they have been purchased to minimize the spread of the virus.
Also, all public transport operators have been told not to have more than 60% of passengers in one vehicle at a time. Other public places such as bars shopping malls, movie theatres and nightclubs remain closed till the new strain of the coronavirus fully subsides.
The number of cases in Macau made it difficult for most tourists to visit Macau during holidays but the management of the tourist site assures its patrons that, everything have been fully put in place to ensure the safety of all those who come to enjoy the serene environment and engage him or herself in the playing of the casino.
Macau is the only city in China where gambling is not considered illegal. Hence, due to this fact, the management are pleading with the general public to follow all the rules that would be meted out to them in order to totally expel the coronavirus from the city.
